Although Kambo is very safe when given by a properly trained practitioner, certain health conditions prevent some people from taking Kambo and some situations require special precautions.

Kambo is very safe when given by a properly trained practitioner. Certain health conditions prevent some people from taking Kambo and some situations require special precautions. Please read carefully the following lists, it is very important that you disclose your whole health history with your practitioner.
This is not an exhaustive list so please get in touch beforehand if you have serious health problems, questions, or concerns, so I can ensure that Kambo is suitable and safe for you.
Kambo Contraindications
The following may NOT take Kambo:
People with serious heart problems
People who have had a stroke
People on medication for low blood pressure
People who’ve had a brain hemorrhage
People who have aneurysms or blood clots
People who lack the mental capacity to make the decision to take Kambo
People with serious mental health problems excluding depression and anxiety
People undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy for 4 – 6 weeks afterward
People who take immune-suppressants for an organ transplant
Women who are pregnant or may be so
Women who are breast-feeding a child under 6 months old
People with Addison’s disease
People with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome
People with current and severe Epilepsy
Are recovering from a major surgical procedure
People under 18 years-of-age
Animals
For women, I will not serve on/around the few days of your moon
Kambo Cautions & Considerations
Extra caution is required in the following cases, It’s important to disclose any of these prior to your session:
People with active drug or alcohol addictions.
People taking slimming, serotonin and/or sleeping supplements.
People taking immune-suppressants for auto-immune disorders.
People who have been fasting/water-fasting for 7 days before (or after) Kambo.
People who plan to use a sauna (FIR or other) or practice hot yoga 3 days before (or after) Kambo.
People who have had enemas, colonics, liver flushes or any water based detox 3 days before (or after) taking Kambo.
People who have been using distilled water for detox/fasting.
People with asthma should bring their inhaler with them (as a precautionary measure).
It’s also important to disclose any of the following prior to session:
If you’re taking or have recently stopped taking any medications.
If you’re taking or have recently stopped taking any diet/slimming pills.
If you’re regularly taking anti-diuretic medication or sports drinks.
If you have ever been, or are currently bulimic or anorexic.
If you’re epileptic. A care taker will be required.
If you have abnormally high or low blood pressure.
If you have liver or kidney problems.
If you have any chronic or serious health issues.
If you have asthma.
If you have diabetes. (type I or type II)
If someone has taken Bufo 5-MeO-DMT within 28 days.

Kambo is very safe when administered by a properly trained practitioner who carries out a thorough health check before every session. As with any medicine, there are contraindications. Certain conditions mean kambo is not suitable, and others require extra caution and full disclosure before proceeding. If you are unsure whether kambo is right for you, get in touch before booking.
Who cannot take kambo?
Kambo is not suitable for people with serious heart problems, a history of stroke or brain hemorrhage, aneurysms or blood clots, or serious mental health conditions (excluding depression and anxiety). It is also not suitable for people currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy or within 4 to 6 weeks of finishing, those taking immune-suppressants for organ transplants, pregnant or breastfeeding women with children under 6 months, people with Addison's disease, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, or severe epilepsy, anyone recovering from major surgery, and anyone under 18 years of age.
What conditions require extra caution before a session?
Extra caution is required and full disclosure is needed before booking if you have active drug or alcohol addictions, are taking slimming pills, serotonin supplements, or sleeping aids, are on immune-suppressants for auto-immune disorders, have fasted or water-fasted for 7 days or more, plan to use a sauna or practice hot yoga within 3 days of a session, have had enemas, colonics, or liver flushes within 3 days, have asthma (bring your inhaler), abnormally high or low blood pressure, liver or kidney problems, epilepsy, diabetes, or have taken Bufo 5-MeO-DMT within 28 days.
What medications are contraindicated with kambo?
All medications should be disclosed before booking, including anything you have recently stopped taking. This includes slimming pills, anti-diuretic medication, serotonin supplements, sleeping aids, immune-suppressants, blood pressure medication, and heart medication. Some medications require a longer gap before a session can go ahead. Be transparent — it is always better to discuss first.
How do I know if kambo is right for me?
The best first step is to read through the contraindications above honestly. If anything on the list applies to you, get in touch before booking so I can go through your situation with you. Every booking at Sacha Warrior begins with a health intake conversation and no session goes ahead without it.
Is kambo legal in Sweden?
Yes. Kambo is legal in Sweden and is not classified as a narcotic or pharmaceutical.
